Yoga Holidays in Thailand

Next Holiday: November 25th, ten days from £495
(More dates and prices )

With pristine beaches and dense jungles, southern Thailand offers a unique natural bounty. We stay on the lush island of Koh Lanta: twice-daily yoga compliments optional scuba diving, rainforest walking and island-hopping - or you might just want to relax and have a Thai massage or spa treatment.

We visit uninhabited islets, investigate the secrets of Thai cuisine as well as yoga sessions designed to develop and deepen whatever yoga practice you've achieved so far. Each day ends with an unforgettable yoga class watching the sunset over the Andaman Sea.

Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrivals
Meet our tour leader and yoga instructor at our beach side accommodation.

Day 2 – Yoga and relaxing
Our first yoga class is followed by a chance to relax and take in our surroundings. Koh Lanta is set in a stunning seascape of magical beaches, bright reefs, azure waters and clear, fresh sunlight. Fireflies accompany us as we finish the day with an evening yoga class.

Day 3 – Elephant jungle trek
Morning yoga before setting off for a rendezvous with our family of Indian elephants (optional). We ride into a lush rainforest of palms, orchids and teak amid the chatter of monkeys and crickets. The Thai jungle teems with life: 920 species of birds live here (Europe has 500) as well as bears, monkeys and, of course, elephants. We have the chance to explore a nearby waterfall before returning for our evening yoga class on the beach.

Days 4 and 5 – Spa, massage and relax
Based on a system similar to yoga, a Thai massage is the opportunity to experience a deep physical healing. Buddhists believe giving a massage gains merit and this ancient tradition is deeply ingrained into hai culture. Our little resort also offers an array of spa treatments – today we have the opportunity to sample these wonderful gifts or to just relax and enjoy the sun.

Day 6 – Mangrove kayaking and Island hopping.
An unforgettable journey to explore the virgin islands of the Andaman Sea (optional). We investigate Koh Lanta's majestic mangrove lagoons via kayak before transferring into a long tail boat to visit a succession of coral islands.

Day 7 – Snoreling (optional)
Today we have the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful islands in the Andaman Sea: Koh Rok. A national park, Koh Rok is surrounded by lush coral reefs - and with visibility up to 50m it's a perfect location to snorkel and relax on white, powerdery beaches.

Day 8 - Thai cookery course (optional)
The verve and sparkle of Thai cuisine is legendary. Ingredients include lime, ginger, bamboo, mango, garlic, coriander as well as exotic fish, shrimp and lobster pastes. Today we visit a Thai cookery school (optional) for a half-day course that reveals the intricacies of this fragrant art.

Day 9 – Optional day trip to Koh Phi Phi
Made famous by Alex Garland's book The Beach, these days Ko Phi Phi is a bustling island hub. We visit Di Caprio's beach, explore this stunning island - as well the chance to shop for last-minute souvenirs and presents.

Day 10 – Departures
